Aamurusko means dawn. The painting looked very different a couple of years ago, but in 2024 I’ve had a phase where I’ve painted over a lot of old works that didn’t resonate with me anymore. I’ve changed a bit over 2021-2023 having two kids, and I felt like I needed a fresh start after maternity leaves. This painting is the flagship of my re-painted summer series 2024. It’s strong and brave, yet light and playful all at once. An eye-catcher artwork for modern interior design, making any space much more interesting and alive.
