This very special piece of a wild soul is painted on an edge piece of a large canvas with "stretch marks" from the gesso preparation process. Usually you would cut that piece of fabric off, but I love the quirky texture it gives the painting, making it extra special and unique. You can see the marks on the canvas best from the flip side of the painting and in the second detail shot.
