Acrylics On Raw Canvas

A Piece of My Space #22 is part of a series of very special paintings. The series reflects the joy of creating freely without the fear of making a mess. I protect my atelier floors with large, high-quality canvases and paint most of my other works by splashing paint on the floor. These canvases pick up all the splashes and drips and also serve as mixing palettes and brush-cleaning cloths. This ensures that no paint is going to waste and no floor covers are thrown to the bin.

This painting features a minimalist, yet expressive arrangement of soft, pastel colors on a neutral raw canvas background. The dominant hues are pale pinks, light blues, subtle golden yellows, and splashes of bright Ultramarine blue. The series embodies the essence of intuition, as most of the shapes emerge naturally while working on the canvas. The colors represent a specific era in the artist's creative flow and inspiration, making them unique to that period of time.
