"POTATO, PEAR, AND A PALE POMEGRANATE" is one of two semi-abstract pieces that I guarantee will bring a smile to your face! Initially, I saw this as just an abstract piece, but then my assistant noticed a pear. After she mentioned it, I spotted a little potato and asked her what the large pale pink shape could be. ”A pomegranate, of course!”

This painting is quite special. It’s the result of several layers and multiple paintings on top of each other, as each version felt like it was missing something. After many repaints, I believe it’s finally finished! The result is this wonderfully charming semi-abstract piece.

These paintings don’t quite fit into my usual abstract collection, so they have found their way into the Artlet section of my webshop—at a very reasonable price!
