The 13th painting from my new innovation; "A Piece of my Space" -series.

I protect my atelier floor with large high-quality canvases and I paint most of my other work splashing paint on the floor on top of these canvases. These protective canvases pick up all splashes and drips, also working as mixing pallets and brush cleaning cloths. This ensures that no paint is going to waste and as little as possible will be washed to the sewer. All paints in these beauties are leftovers from other paintings!

These paintings are like thoughtful, beautiful accidents. I do plan where to paint with different colors to make beautiful, very different Pieces of my Space. Most of the shapes emerge naturally as I work on top of the canvas for a few months, which ensures that there’s many memories and stories in each Piece.

This Piece looks beautiful both horizontal and vertical, and you can switch it around depending on the space.
