Often, when my collectors walk in to my studio and I ask what colors they like, they respond “I don’t like pink that much.” After a while looking at my paintings, they almost always end up with something with pink, not despite of it, but because of it.

Pink hasn’t always been coded as “feminine.” In the early 1900s, pink was often suggested for boys (as the stronger, more “decided” color) and blue for girls. So don't let stereotypes fool you, if you like pink, embrace it! It's a powerful and energizing color. I often paint pink during winter, when I need the color energy boost the most.

This is minimalist, but not timid. It’s clean, modern, and confident—perfect for neutral homes that need an edge without adding clutter.
