I’m a full time abstract artist from Finland.
I’m Master of Science in Economics by education, but just when I was just about to graduate in 2018, I decided to start painting in the evenings, to relief stress and anxiety. As an introvert and highly sensitive person, I was feeling uneasy working in an open space office, and I was a bit burned out from work and University.
After just few months of experimental painting, I sold so many paintings through Instagram that I decided to quit my job and I’ve been a full-time artist ever since. My life changed completely, as I realized I could reduce stress and earn money with my favotite hobby!
In the past five years, I have participated in dozens of exhibitions and sold more than 400 paintings all over the world, including the USA (e.g. Hawaii), Great Britain, France, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
I paint mostly abstract acrylic paintings without sketching beforehand. I go with the flow and paint what looks beautiful or interesting to me. Being a restless soul, I don’t like to restrict myself to one specific style or medium. I experiment different techniques and materials freely without any “rules” from art schools or fear of making a mess. I let my creativity and inspiration run free and usually with some good music at my own art studio in Siuntio, Finland.
